Marijuana dispensing vending machines now exist. In California Anytime-Vending-Machines in secure rooms dispense marijuana to anyone with a doctor’s prescription for the weed that is legal in that state for anyone with a...

1st full rehearsal
yup yup.  This evening echosuite embarked on it’s first full band rehearsal. 6 people.  B. Moon, Dillepan, Justin, Caitlin, Joey and Adam.  Hoo-rah.  Sounds great! As of now we have a launch date of February 17th for our Myspace site.  Which means that vocals need to be tracked, and the record (i’m calling it that though it’s really going to be an EP) needs to be mixed and...

Day 3: 7 drum tracks complete!
Disarmed Drain the Lake Battles End The Rock Break me Down The Great Ruse No Replacing ‘Twas a long wonderfully satisfying weekend. Adam played extremely well. Billy Moon killed it in the producers chair.   I like my role in this part of the project. I trust both adam and moon, so I don’t say much. I just listen to the songs and trust the good ‘ole instincts. We made some...

Day 2
12pm - 12am.  Long day.  At least we got more than 3 1/2 hours sleep this time.   Diarmed, Battles End, The Great Ruse, No Replacing, and The Rock all have drums on them now.  This is a good thing.  Adam has been cutting through the tracks like a hot knife through butter. All that’s left now is Break me Down and Drain the Lake (my fav).    oAo justin

An old letter to some friends...
My friend Brian (http://www.thisisbk.com) posted the letter below. I wrote it a little over two months ago. I sit awake now, at 5:41 am… deep in the mixing process (which for me is a LOT of listening and researching anything music related online while Billy Moon does his thing). I re-read this and think about where I was at 2 months ago and where I am at now. It’s a very similar...
