So I spent my evening inside tonight.  Yes, it’s possible that I spend a Saturday night in my apartment.  I mean, I have to work tomorrow at 9am and I have the show at Bowery Ballroom next Friday.  It’s a wise choice I think.  

What did I do you ask? Besides playing quite a bit of piano (perhaps to my neighbors dismay… though I think he’s probably drunk or with some chick..) I did a little music searching on the ‘net.  

I honestly believe that Regina is going to be one of the greatest artists of our time.  

For me, I am obviously obsessed with Radiohead.  They are my favorite band.  Yet, I have to give the honor of greatest musical act to The Beatles.  Not just because they were the first to forge the path for the rest of us, but because they were playful (something that I don’t feel Radiohead captures… or desires to).  The Beatles could sing of an Octopus’ garden or a Yellow Submarine.  

Regina has this same talent that The Beatles had. She finds a way to weave playfulness into some of her songs, while others lay on thick melancholy (Samson).
